We spend time discussing the oral hygiene needs relevant to each individual by carrying out disclosing to check on the efficacy of their brushing and interdental cleaning.
The aim is to get as many patients as possible up to a high enough standard of self-oral care for an annual appointment with the dentist to be appropriate.
It is stressed that the everyday care by each individual is the most important part of maintaining a healthy mouth not the annual or biennial scale and polish carried out by their dentist.
We carry out all the usual procedures if required such as:- fillings; root canal treatment; veneers; crowns; bridges and other cosmetic treatments including tooth whitening, and orthodontic treatments including the Invisalign or FastBraces systems.
If you are a member of the practice schemes and have a dental emergency we will offer you an emergency appointment with a dentist on that day (providing you ring 3 hours before the surgery closes.
Andy or a dentist from our local rota are available out of hours for advice and/or treatment as necessary – just ring the surgery to obtain the telephone number from our answer-phone message.
An answer-phone is available to leave messages when the surgery is closed or when the receptionist is busy. The receptionist will then contact you as soon as possible.
